Volunteer

There are several exciting ministry opportunities available to serve at SBC!

*The Community Clothing Closet volunteers organize donations and help individuals outfit their families for free. They accept donations Wednesdays from 11-1:00, and Thursdays from 5-7:00. In addition, a monthly event is held where people can come and get clothing, shoes and accessories at no cost. (Please see Sarah Schreiber if interested in volunteering.)

*Our Kids Ministry is a wonderful place to serve and teach kids! We welcome volunteers to help with teaching, crafts and having FUN! Our Kids Ministry teachers and helpers are in the classroom once per month, and utilize a Bible based curriculum. (Please see Angela Rohde if you're interested in volunteering.)

*The Nursery serves ages newborn - 3 years old, and volunteers serve only once per month. There is also a live feed in our nursery available if parents would like to stay with their babies in the Nursery during the service. (Please see Lisa Love if you're interested in volunteering.)

*VBS is a huge outreach to the community and serves children preschool age - 5th grade. We welcome volunteers 6th grade and up. (Please see Angela Rohde if you're interested in volunteering.)

*The Hospitality Ministry is a vital part of serving not only the congregation, but our extended community as well. We provide funeral food and service, donations for VFW funeral meals, set up and tear down of funeral meals as well as coffee and snacks every Sunday morning. (Please see Nicole Miller if you're interested in volunteering.)

*Singing with the residents at the Dimondale Center is the 2nd Sundy of every month from 2-3:00. All are welcome to come be a part of spending time with the residents and singing with them!
