Head Pastor

Pastor Matt Rohde first became involved in ministry at The Chapel in Richland, Mi in 1992. He served with the Youth Group and Skit Team under Pastors Tim & Mike Mills. He was hired as a Youth Pastor at Nashville Baptist Church under Pastor Lester DeGroot in 2001, and served for 13 years. He was ordained in 2002. Pastor Matt has now been on 30 mission trips with high school and college students! Pastor Matt became the head Pastor at Springport Bible Church in 2017. He has a dynamic testimony that has been published in Moody Monthly by Jerry B. Jenkins. Pastor Matt is also involved with coaching football, powerlifting and track. He and his wife Angela have two adult children, Noelle and Gage. 



Youth Group Leader

Zach Potter was hired to lead the Youth Group in 2022. Zach is a graduate of the University of Olivet with a BA in Marketing.  Zach also wrestled four years at Olivet, receiving the MIAA Senior Sportsman of the Year award. Zach helps coach wrestling and soccer at Springport High School, and is  the "voice of the Spartans" at home football games!
